Book Signing with Local Author Gregory Zschomler

Author, and former co-owner of Harbor Books, Gregory Zschomler will be signing his newest Bayou Boys Adventure, Alien Ambush, at Harbor Books, 2200 Simpson in Hoquiam, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25.

The middle reader for tweens is the fourth and final book of the series that also includes Voodoo Virus, Marsh Monster and Playhouse Phantom. This time Pete and Bart, along with friends Dallas and the extraterrestrial-obsessed Reed, find themselves in peril on a decommissioned oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico while searching for reported UFOs. The events of the new book take place on and just before Thanksgiving.

The enjoyable tales are especially good, wholesome and educational reading for home-schoolers. The new story has elements that will teach about freedom, the American dream, UFO research, the oil industry, Louisianan culture, geography and languages, and more.

Zschomler is the author of sixteen books, both fiction and non-fiction for both children and adults. His work has also appeared in Washington Coast and Coastal Currents magazines, the Daily World and many other periodicals. He will have his other books on hand for the signing as well.
